Cintellate

Cintellate is a software solution which helps organisations track, measure, analyse and report on their sustainability initiatives. The primary functionality helps address OH&S related business processes, but the company also offers a suite of environmental-related modules including managing GHG emissions, air and water discharge monitoring, waste management, stakeholder management, permit/obligation management, rehabilitation planning and hazardous substance management. The current release is the second major upgrade to the GHG emissions software module that now includes calculations and 'what if' scenarios.

Cintellate provides enterprise level OH&S, environmental and risk management software to address the challenges of more complex, multi-level and larger-sized organisations. Based in Perth (Australia), the company has offices in the USA and the UK with reseller agreements in China.

The software offers NGERS, EU ETS, GRI and ISO 14000 series compliance.

The software is primarily a desktop application using a two-tier client server architecture with an additional web based interface available. The web based interface is based on the TomCat application server. The program runs on both Windows and Linux/Unix and is written in a combination of Java, .Net and C++. Database servers supported include Microsoft SQL server and Oracle. Custom integration can be achieved with the optional designer tools. The software is licensed per named user. Upgrades and maintenance are included in the annual licensing agreement.

The solution offers user-configurability allowing system admin level users to manipulate forms, fields, tabs and to add new forms. Users do not need to learn coding and there is minimal dependence on the software vendor to tailor the system to suit clients’ needs. Additional modules can be later added. Analysis capabilities include data filtering, drill down and roll-up of information to create KPI dashboards and reports.
