CSRware for GreenIT

CSRware for Sustainability and CSRware for GreenIT are web-based CEMS products that help organisations reduce the energy costs of IT operations, supply chain, and their carbon footprint. CSRware for Green IT is configured to help IT organisations assess, optimise and report on resource use. CSRware for Sustainability is configured to help corporate sustainability organisations prioritise, track and quantify the effectiveness of their emission management efforts.

CSRware focuses on helping organisations to measure, manage, and profit from their carbon and sustainability programs and released CSRware for Sustainability and CSRware for GreenIT in 2006. The company is based in San Francisco, CA.

The software offers AB32 in California Carbon Disclosure Project Global Reporting Initiative and ISO 14001 compliance.

The software is delivered as a web-based SaaS application hosted by CSRware and it runs on Windows. It is licensed on a subscription-basis and is available only in English. It can integrate with various data sources including utility providers, enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, business productivity applications, network monitoring and virtualisation systems.

It has a configurable dashboard with click-through visibility functionality to data on an aggregated or detailed basis, and can manage non-GHG emission such as water and waste. CSRware also mentions that although their products are able to integrate data from various sources and platforms, there are data integration limitations. CSRware recognises this and is looking to ensure global data integration.
