e3 Solutions supplies web-based CEMS products that help organisations measure and manage carbon at the individual asset level as well as provide a detailed audit trail for calculations and source activities. e3 Solutions include e3 carbon accounting tool (e3CAT), e3 enterprise carbon management (e3ECM), e3 environmental management information systems (e3EMIS), and e3 enterprise incident management (e3EIM). e3 Solutions also provide carbon advisory services to help organisations navigate carbon requirements.

e3 Solutions focuses on the design and implementation of enterprise carbon management, incident management and environmental management systems. It has been in business since 2005, operating in Canada and the USA, and is venture capital backed by New Carbon Economy Fund. e3 Solutions claims that their tools meet all legislated, statutory requirements and standards, as emissions can be tracked at the asset, corporate, facility, and equipment level and users can assign specific emission protocols and reporting requirements at the facility level.

The software is delivered as a web-based SaaS application hosted by e3 Solutions and runs and supports major platforms and database servers. It has been written in .Net and is licensed per server and on an annual or monthly subscription basis. It is available only in English and can be integrated with external products such as Pi, Meridian, Oracle, SOST, and PeopleSoft. Data can also be imported and exported using Adobe PDF forms, Excel and Access.

e3 solutions can be customised to manage water, waste water, physical waste, commuter travel, and business travel. e3 solutions offers offline (disconnected) data collection, but does not offer a full offline version with synchronisation capability.
