Environmental Sustainability Dashboard

Environmental Sustainability Dashboard for Microsoft Dynamics AX is a desktop-based CEMS product that helps organisations use their enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to track their energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

The Environmental Sustainability Dashboard was launched by Microsoft in February 2009 to help businesses identify opportunities for increased efficiency that can deliver bottom-line cost savings and decrease their impact on the environment.

The software offers GRI (EN3, EN4, EN16, and EN17) compliance.

The software is delivered as stand-alone desktop application made available to Microsoft Dynamics AX customers. Dashboard users may require a Microsoft Dynamics client for a Microsoft Office license. It runs on Windows and is written in C++. It supports the database server Microsoft SQL/Server and is available in most languages. Licensing is available as a partial user license or full user license. Environmental Sustainability Dashboard dashboard is made available at no additional charge to Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP advanced management licensees.

In the next release, Microsoft is looking to include a tool for what-if analysis to identify appropriate actions.
