Facility Tracking System (FacTS)

Quantam helps organisations protect against environmental, health and safety (EH&S) risk exposure and assists in managing regulatory compliance, related data and documents, and systematic enterprise communications. CEMS products offered include the Facility Tracking System (FacTS), FacTS MaterialSafety Data Sheets (MSDS) Authoring Systems, Maritime Compliance System (MCS), Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Dashboard, and FacTS Small Business Solution (SBS).

Quantum Compliance Systems (QCS) has introduced the FacTS as an EH&S Information Management System products for the environmental, health, and safety area. Founded in 1986, Quantum Compliance Systems is based in Michigan, USA and has also has a physical presence in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Quantum also provides data management services that includes the collection, validation, and management of data required for internal and external EH&S reporting. The software offers GRI, TCR, CCAR, and EPA Climate Leaders Registry (EPA CL) compliance.

The software is delivered as a client-based internally hosted application and small organisations can purchase a desktop version. It runs on Windows, Linux/Unix, and Solaris, and has been written in Java and C++. It can be delivered with either a Progress or Oracle database or delivered as a web-based application hosted by QCS. It is licensed per annual or monthly subscription, based on user count and required functionality. It is available in English, Spanish, and French.

FacTS can manage non-GHG emissions and FacTS emission equations can calculate emissions for all types of processes including volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), toxic air pollutants (TAPs), and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). FacTS can also calculate the amount of carbon credits a company has or needs, but does not track the trading of carbon credits.
