Carbon Emissions Management Software

ghgTrack

Vendor: Enverity Corporation

ghgTrack is a web-based CEMS product that assists with greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data collection, management and reporting. It allows users to manage GHG emissions for facilities, assign and track data-collection tasks, edit GHG emissions baselines, emission sources, emission factors, prepare third-party verification packages and produce reports for internal use, voluntary programs and/or regulatory regimes.

Based in Burlingame, California, USA, Enverity has offices in Connecticut, California and Oregon and has reseller agreements in other parts of the USA.

ghgTrack clients claim to enable organisations to produce many more reports than those required by regulatory and/or voluntary programs and allows users to compare reductions with baseline data over the years for regulatory and voluntary reporting.

The software is primarily a web-based application using two-tier client-server architecture and can be accessed on any platform using a web browser where Java Script is enabled. If internally hosted, an Oracle database server is supported. It has been written in Java and is licensed on an annual or monthly subscription by facility. Support is available 9-6 (EST). It is currently available in English, with Spanish, French, Japanese and Chinese planned for 2010.

Non-greenhouse emissions can be managed such as water, waste, and ghgTrack can integrate the application to most software applications, emission monitoring devices and electronic meters for an additional fee.
