ILOG LogicNet Plus XE

ILOG LogicNet Plus XE is a CEMS product that helps organisations understand the impact of their supply chain decisions on their carbon footprint. ILOG LogicNet Plus XE facilitates the quick analysis of the tradeoffs between production, warehousing, transportation costs, service requirements , and the Carbon Footprint Extension module allows the analysis of carbon footprint.

ILOG LogicNet Plus XE is a network design and planning solution developed by IBM and optimisation technology of ILOG CPLEX to manage the complex supply chains. ILOG is a French-based rules engine company that was acquired by IBM in January 2009.

The software is delivered as an internally hosted application that can be run on Windows. It is available in French and English and can be linked to Microsoft Excel and Access for data importing, exporting and manipulation. It can also integrate with other IBM ILOG solutions.

It offers the ability to model and optimize both distribution and manufacturing networks and carbon footprint modelling. It also incorporates standard (default) data on carbon emissions in plants, warehouses and various modes of transportation.
