Intelex

Intelex is a web-based CEMS product that helps organisations to manage environmental, quality, health and safety and business performance management processes. Intelex offers a library of over 20 modules. The Environmental Management System module manages greenhouse gas, air, water, environmental incidents, aspect and impacts, training, emergency response, permits and audits.

Based in Toronto, Canada, Intelex has teleworkers around North America, including an air emission expert. It works with partners in Australia, the Middle East and California who provide sales, services and first level support to customers. The software offers compliance to the following standards and registry requirements: WRI/WBCSD, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, IPCC Carbon Disclosure Project, GRI G3, GHG, The Climate Registry, EPA Climate Leaders, RGGI, California Climate Action Registry, Canadian GHG Emissions Reporting Program, NGER, and OSCAR. All modules are compliant with the major environmental standards including ISO 14001, RC 14001 and OHSAS18001.

The software is available as a web-based application hosted as a SaaS by Intelex or can be internally hosted. The program runs on Windows and it is written in a combination of Java, .Net, XML and ASP and it is licensed per named user, annual or monthly subscription. It is available in English and French, and support is provided through an SLA. Software releases generally occur bi-annually. Intelex can integrate with the major database applications or ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, and also older legacy systems.

Users can configure interfaces which include dashboards, navigation bars, work flow routing, calculations, and reports and security settings, and can alter its GHG emission tracking form with additional fields, system routing, and responsibilities.
