SAS for Sustainability Manager

SAS for Sustainability Management is a web-based CEMS product that allows organisations to measure, manage and report on environmental, social and economic indicators, and calculate its carbon footprint. It also helps determine causes and costs, measure performance of sustainability initiatives, improve transparency and compliance and evaluate alternative scenarios. It allows an organisation to efficiently capture and organise information and apply analytics techniques such as predictive modelling, forecasting and optimisation.

SAS is focuses on in business intelligence and analytical software and services and the company has customers at 43,000 sites around the world that use SAS software to manage data.

The software offers Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3 framework compliance.

The software is delivered as a web-based SaaS application hosted by SAS. The program runs on Windows or Linux/Unix and is supported by Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server database servers. It is written in a Javascript and has the ability to read from and write to nearly any data on any technology platform in batch and real time, including Excel, Oracle, DB2, SAP and legacy systems.

SAS for Sustainability Manager allows organisations forecasting, simulation and correlation analysis for environmental impact predictions. It is also integrated with the SAS business analytics framework including what-if scenario analysis, business intelligence, integration with MS Office applications and data integration.
